LOVE Memory Quilt (79"x79" Couch Size)

**Instructions will be provided to the Customer for shipping their quilt and binding fabric to us as soon as the order is placed. We recommend USPS shipping with a Tracking number so we can watch for it to arrive. 

How is a Memory Quilt made?

If the shirt/clothing item requires it, each item is stabilized with backing material prior to cutting and sewing them into quilt blocks. This strengthens the fabric for accurate piecing and improves longevity.

All Memory Quilts made with the LOVE pattern are made from clothing provided by the customer, along with 100% cotton background fabric in order to create 9-inch quilt blocks. The quilt top includes a 6-inch 100% cotton fabric outer border.

Tops are then quilted by "sandwiching" them together with another layer of 100% cotton fabric for the backing and a layer of 80% cotton/20% polyester batting in the middle. They are then professionally quilted with a long arm sewing machine on a quilting frame, using a standard all-over, end to end stitching pattern.

This quilting process is what provides a quality quilt that will last a lifetime compared to a "blanket" that will only last a short time.
